Accounts Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for multiple companies within the group.
- Manage the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets.
- Prepare financial forecasts, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate funds for operational needs.
- Implement strategies to optimize cash management.
Audit and Compliance:
- Coordinate and manage external audits.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide insights into financial performance and key metrics.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Cost Accounting:
- Implement and maintain effective cost accounting systems
- Analyze production costs and recommend strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvement
Inventory Management
- Monitor and control inventory levels to optimize working capital.
- Conduct regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Manager or in a similar financial management role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in accounting software / ZOHO
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 05 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management.
- Proven experience in accounting and financial management within a manufacturing as well as group of company’s setting
