Key Responsibilities:

·       Negotiate and draft construction contracts, including terms and conditions, scope of work, payment schedules, and dispute resolution mechanisms.

·       Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

·       Handle contractor claims and disputes, seeking resolution through negotiation or legal channels

·       Manage contract variations and change orders, assessing impacts on cost, schedule, and quality.

·       Identify and mitigate contractual risks, ensuring appropriate insurance coverage and indemnities.

·       Monitor contractor performance to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and project specifications.

·       Collaborate with project teams to monitor project budgets and control costs related to contracts.

·       Maintain accurate contract documentation and prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders.

·       Foster positive relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth project execution.

·       Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and industry standards.

Key Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree and above in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

·       Over 15 years’ experience in UAE in construction contract management, have handled contracts of multibillion projects.

·       Proficiency in contract administration software and project management tools.

·       The candidate shall be a MRICS / RICS membership holder.
